Marilyn
Hermance

Marilyn Hermance,
a native Houstonian, has a B.S. in Psychology from Ursuline
College in Cleveland, Ohio and a Masters in American Studies
from Case Western Reserve. Marilyn is a founding member of the
Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Council of the N.K.B.A. (National
Kitchen & Bath Association) and served six years as a Board
Member of N.K.B.A. She saw a need for beautiful plumbing and
hardware products when building her own home and as a result,
founded the firm of Custom Accessories in Houston, Texas in
1977. Marilyn and her family combined businesses in 1994 to
form Westheimer Plumbing & Hardware, Inc. Marilyn is a long
time member of the Dover Club, the Texas Executive Women’s
Board of Bauer School of Business at the University of Houston,
is on the Board of the D.P.H.A., and is on the Board of Forte’
Buying Group. Marilyn works with Architects, Designers, and
Builders on selections for the most beautiful homes in the country.
Marilyn also has many commercial projects to her credit, including
the clubhouse at Carlton Woods Country Club. |
